We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in Cleveland, OH. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving field sales strategy, achieving sales objectives, and providing direction and leadership to multiple Account Executives, Marketing Representatives, and Team Leads.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-10 years of experience in a similarly situated sales role, with a proven track record of success in telecom/retail/direct distribution, FMCG, and prepaid wireless. You should possess excellent negotiation skills, technical and non-technical communication skills, and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute field sales strategy and achieve sales objectives
  • Provide direction and leadership to multiple teams
  • Drive area performance to deliver on training objectives, grow brand awareness, and meet established KPIs
  • Schedule and conduct regular face-to-face meetings and/or ride-alongs with direct reports
  • Manage all aspects of the region's hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, disciplining, and motivating

Requirements:

  • At least 2-10 years' experience in a similarly situated sales role
  • Sales experience in telecom/retail/direct distribution, FMCG, and prepaid wireless required
  • Some college preferred
  • Solid sales experience with excellent negotiation skills
  • Technical and non-technical communication skills, including strong verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, goal-oriented, and strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
