**Job Description**

This role is an integral part of the Latin America Region's month-end closing, management reporting, and analysis. You will manage multiple international ledgers and currencies for reporting purposes across LATAM countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay).

As a Regional Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the month-end close responsibilities for the LATAM accounting team. The critical nature of this portion of the position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of timeliness and accuracy.

**Responsibilities**

  • Month-End Close Responsibilities:
    • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of LATAM month-end close.
    • Review results and collaborate with local teams to ensure completeness.
    • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the data flow between source systems.
    • Book all journal entries.
    • Troubleshoot accounting issues experienced by our local teams.
    • Assist in ad hoc analysis.
  • Quarterly and Annual Procedures:
    • Complete Quarterly Analytics reports for LATAM for P&L and Balance Sheet.
    • Review Visual Lease Reconciliation.
    • Provide support for audit requests (internal and external, including statutory audits).
  • OneStream and Oracle Cloud Management:
    • Point person for creating and updating system dimensions.
    • Collaborate with DRM team to complete needed updates.
    • Collaborate with mapping team to complete accurate mapping between R12 and Oracle Cloud.
    • Collaborate with BPI for any changes needed in CVR rules.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations:
    • Work with local team controllers for review and timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Ensure reconciling items are current, supported, and cleared in a timely fashion.
    • Maintain and be the point of contact for the RCM reconciliation module.
  • Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Collaborate with FP&A team during annual operating plan process and monthly forecast.
    • Involved in other ad hoc projects and initiatives as defined by management and business needs.

**Requirements**

Formal Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA/MBA or progress towards either is a plus.

Language:

  • Foreign language (Spanish and/or Portuguese) is a plus.

Knowledge & Experience:**

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting, finance, or audit experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Proven assertive project leadership skills.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
