Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team at SPX FLOW, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of quality-related documentation, with a focus on customer orders, particularly those involving highly engineered and/or sanitary products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Project Management, Quality Engineering, and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering to determine documentation requirements and inspection/test records.
  • Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and testing methods to ensure product and process quality.
  • Complete quality questionnaires and forms to support the quoting process.
  • Set up and manage job-specific working folders for quality assurance documentation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation generation and collection during the manufacturing phase.
  • Package collected documents for customer QA dossiers and work with relevant parties for final document packaging and dissemination.
  • Manage level one through four QMS documentation to maintain compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Field post-shipment document questions and concerns, and work with relevant parties to resolve any issues.
  • Provide support and training to shop floor associates and leaders on order document requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with established industry safety, design standards, and guidelines.
  • Support ISO 9001 compliance and quality activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or associate degree preferred.
  • Three years of hands-on or administrative experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Ideal candidate has experience working with document collection, archiving, and retrieval.
Working Conditions

This role operates in a manufacturing professional office environment and requires occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and loud noise levels while on the production floor.
