We are currently seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to support our team in implementing a global technology rollout project in the United States.

Job Summary

This is a 12-month contract position with a salary range of $48,000 to $60,000 per annum. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory control transactions from receipt of raw materials to shipment of finished products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Work in a safe manner and comply with Rotork's Environmental Health and Safety Policies, identifying and resolving potential hazards.
  • Goods Receipts: Process intercompany and external supplier goods inward receipts, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Delivery Coordination: Coordinate the delivery of incoming containers and work closely with freight forwarders to ensure smooth logistics.
  • Inventory Reconciliation: Resolve inventory reconciliation issues and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Cycle Counts: Coordinate and resolve daily/weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • MRB Scrap Transactions: Complete MRB scrap transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Equipment Inspection: Inspect, check, and confirm receipt of all goods into the warehouse, identifying and escalating any damaged or unsafe equipment.
  • Warehouse Organization: Consolidate stock, maintain batch control, and follow FIFO principles to maximize storage space.
  • Warehouse Management Systems: Utilize warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems to optimize inventory control.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in warehousing and/or inventory control, with a valid forklift truck license.
  • Skills: High level of attention to detail, logical and methodical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
  • Desirable: Familiarization with warehouse management systems.
