Arnall Golden Gregory LLP ("AGG"), a prominent law firm located in Atlanta with a team of approximately 200 legal professionals, is in search of a Legal Support Coordinator. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive administrative and clerical assistance to attorneys and paralegals. Candidates should possess prior experience in a legal support capacity, ideally within a litigation environment, and have a strong foundation in organizational and clerical skills, along with a solid understanding of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Proficiency in word processing and various software applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, is essential. The following outlines the specific responsibilities and requirements for this position.

Position Reports to: Resource Center Supervisor and Legal Support Manager

Key Responsibilities

Primary functions will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering legal, administrative, and word processing support to attorneys and paralegals.
  • Providing coverage for legal assistants as needed.
  • Coordinating and organizing meetings, travel, and conferences for attorneys.
  • Maintaining and updating filing systems, including the organization of attorneys' case files.
  • Preparing monthly client invoices for submission in accordance with firm guidelines, including reviewing for accuracy.
  • Compiling reimbursement and marketing expense reports; monitoring reimbursements for payment processing.
  • Managing personal correspondence, reading files, billing letters, expense reports, and time entry files.
  • Entering timesheets into the CMS database for attorneys.
  • Initiating new client/matter files following firm procedures.
  • Assisting with attorney calendars and contacts as required.
  • Executing additional duties as assigned related to this role.
  • Competency with the following software:
  • Word 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Utilizing styles, Table of Authorities, and Table of Contents.
  • Kofax PDF (for converting and formatting documents from PDF to Word, as well as bookmarking, redacting, and highlighting within PDFs).
  • NetDocs or familiarity with document management systems.
  • Latera or understanding of document redlining and change tracking.

  • Engagement in standing, walking, and occasional crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting tasks.
  • Regular operation of personal computers, telephones, voicemail, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to articulate and exchange ideas verbally.
  • Capability to convey detailed information clearly and concisely through spoken communication.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
FLSA Status:

Non-Exempt

HOURS:

Full-time; M-F 10:30-7:00 (1-hour lunch); overtime may be required
