Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Registration and Insurance Verification: Register all patients and verify their insurance information, as well as other demographics, to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
  • Waiting Room Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized waiting room, free of expired magazines, litter, and other distractions.
  • Phone Answering: Answer the phone in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring that patients are greeted promptly and efficiently.
  • Financial Transactions: Explain all fees and patient financial responsibility, collect fees for services, and ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Patient Satisfaction: Ensure patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with general office duties and other tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of our practice.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, with the ability to navigate and utilize our practice management system efficiently.
