Position Overview:

Accountable for constructing production casework, demonstrating a solid capability to attach hardware and assemble components into finished products.

Work Schedule:

Standard working hours are from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as required. These hours may be adjusted based on production demands, and the ability to work overtime is necessary.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and cut lists
  • Capability to assemble cabinets in accordance with established standards and diagrams
  • Basic knowledge and experience with hand tools, including but not limited to tape measures, combination squares, table saws, portable power miter saws, sliding table saws, radial arm saws, saber saws, portable routers, screw pocket machines, pneumatic nailers, and staple guns
  • Effective communication skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • Mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, division, fractions, and decimals
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional appearance
  • Open communication style
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install hardware such as hinges, handles, catches, and drawer pulls
  • Sand and prepare surfaces and joints for laminating
  • Ensure checklist completion
  • Bore holes for screws or dowels, either manually or using a boring machine
  • May assist in various areas of the facility as needed
  • Stack completed work in designated staging areas for delivery
  • Contribute to producing high-quality products
  • Perform tasks efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing safety glasses and seeking assistance with heavy lifting
  • Maintain punctuality and regular attendance
  • Take ownership of completing assigned tasks
  • Exhibit a positive attitude towards personal, departmental, and organizational objectives
  • Show respect for colleagues and clients
  • Be willing to participate in overtime as required
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Environment:
  • This position operates in an open-air facility.
  • While performing job duties, team members may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.
