Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at the City of Cape Coral. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our citizens and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing accurate and timely information and resolving issues in a fair and efficient manner.
  • Office Support: Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and filing, to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management, using clear and concise language and active listening skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and efficient manner, using problem-solving skills and judgment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve customer service and office operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in an office environment, preferably in customer service or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and priorities.
