Position Overview:

The Loan Processor Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for consumers, guiding them through the loan origination journey following discussions with a licensed loan officer. This role is crucial in ensuring streamlined and effective processes that align with both business goals and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist consumers with their mortgage inquiries.
  • Manage text communications with consumers who have provided consent, ensuring timely responses.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service for all mortgage-related inquiries and requests.
  • Oversee a pipeline of up to 75 loans, ensuring efficient processing.
  • Conduct routine data entry and validation tasks to maintain accurate records.
  • Respond to calls, emails, and chat inquiries from consumers and authorized third parties.
  • Monitor work queues and take necessary actions to address any issues.
  • Collaborate with various departments to expedite processing and resolve issues.
  • Perform preliminary research to accurately address customer inquiries.
  • Seek assistance for complex issues from department associates or supervisors.
  • Meet established production and quality benchmarks.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures.
  • Engage in additional duties as assigned.
  • Exhibit behaviors that reflect the organization's culture and values.

Required Skills:

  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient in data entry and loan processing.
  • Familiarity with mortgage origination processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in mortgage or financial services call centers is advantageous.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of relevant Federal, State, and Local mortgage regulations is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate information in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with standard computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
