Job Title: Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst, Senior

At Axelon, we are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst, Senior to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing revenue cycle information systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop solutions to solve problems and meet organizational needs
  • Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems and devise or modify procedures to solve problems using data processing
  • Act as an application administrator, ensuring data integrity, maintaining system security, extracting, analyzing, and transforming data
  • Facilitate user/vendor communication and manage software upgrades, implementations, and/or conversions
  • Balance time between direct customer service and project-related activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or 9 years of relevant experience if no bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant revenue cycle experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an IS healthcare setting
  • Experience with 2 full life cycle implementations (from scoping/planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, go-live support)
  • Minimum of 3 years of Soarian Application experience
  • Must have at least 3 years of HL7, Patient Access, and Revenue Cycle experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot Soarian interface and 3rd-party applications
  • Good organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity and experience with 3M, PBAR, MedSeries4, Change Healthcare, nThrive, Patient Keeper, and/or Revenue Cycle experience (Scheduling, Registration, HIM coding & abstracting, Patient Accounting and Billing) a plus
