POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Marketing Director plays a pivotal role in generating revenue-enhancing initiatives within the Casino Gaming Institute Inc branding framework.

This role oversees and executes the marketing and branding strategies for various segments, including gaming, hospitality, entertainment, retail, and sponsorships/public relations, aimed at maximizing revenue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES

Collaborate with enterprise marketing teams to provide strategic insights, analyze findings, and formulate actionable recommendations to optimize marketing expenditures while prioritizing essential projects on a monthly basis.

Conduct monthly evaluations of regional marketing analytics, focusing on marketing investments and campaign effectiveness across both gaming and non-gaming sectors.

Continuously balance new insights with ongoing projects, fostering innovation through proactive networking and research initiatives.

Facilitate monthly marketing reviews with the Casino Gaming Institute Inc Marketing teams.

Engage with properties on a quarterly basis and take part in marketing strategy discussions.

Identify business requirements weekly and work alongside the Business Department team to execute future development projects and IT advancements.

Enhance analytical capabilities across aligned functional areas and properties on a monthly basis.

Review findings monthly and present recommendations to leadership.

Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, constructive feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction on a daily basis.

Conduct annual research on industry and non-industry marketing strategies and emerging digital media technologies, including monitoring trends to identify best practices.

Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of this job description.


JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Reports to Supervisor - Refer to Organizational Chart

Leadership Accountability:
Formulates strategic plans and interprets policies. Implements operational plans.

Supervisory Accountability:
Oversees management personnel, professionals, and non-managers.

Organizational Accountability:
Manages a sub-unit of a department.

Financial Accountability:
Authorizes expenditures and monitors financial activities.

Customer Accountability:
Engages with internal and external stakeholders, officials, and regulatory authorities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Advertising or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Master of Business Administration is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of ten (10) years of comprehensive marketing experience within the casino industry, including media purchasing, promotions, campaigns, and product branding.
At least five (5) years of supervisory management experience.

ESSENTIAL:
All employees must comply with the Criminal and Background restrictions of the Casino Gaming Institute Inc.
Must be adaptable.
A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and appropriate insurance are required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Familiarity with the Casino Gaming Institute Inc and current gaming regulations.
Strong leadership skills to guide the marketing departments.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in all relevant computer applications.
Understanding of e-commerce.

WORKPLACE RESPONSIBILITY
Ensures a safe and healthy work environment.

The department manager guarantees that all employees receive necessary training, guidance, and comprehend all applicable procedures to perform their assigned tasks safely.


WORKING CONDITIONS
Primarily works in an office setting, though the nature of the organization may require visits to non-standard workplaces.

Standard work hours apply, with occasional evenings, weekends, and additional hours necessary for activities such as board meetings and representing the marketing division at public events.
