Job Functions
35% Pilot Lab Management
Act as the primary liaison for pilot lab activities, managing budgets and overseeing the formulation of pilot-scale products. Ensure quality assurance and facilitate the transfer of formulation technologies to production facilities.
35% Product Development
Lead the formulation processes for a variety of agricultural products, including herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides. Prioritize projects, plan workflows, and coordinate with team members to achieve efficient product development outcomes.
10% Quality Assurance
Evaluate new manufacturing procedures and ingredients, ensuring compliance with quality standards and supporting product registration efforts.
10% Technical Validation
Collaborate with procurement to identify and validate materials for product formulations.
5% Safety Compliance
Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
5% Packaging Validation
Identify and approve suitable packaging solutions for new products, ensuring efficient qualification processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline, with a preference for professional chemistry.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in research and development.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and innovative thinking.
- In-depth knowledge of various chemical principles and industry standards.
