Position Description:
In this prominent position, you will have the chance to significantly influence Apple Products and leave a lasting legacy.


Our quality engineering team facilitates the mass production of extraordinary products, collaborating closely in the development of Apple's acclaimed designs.



  • Collaborate with tooling and functional teams to assess designs and processes during the conceptual phase
  • Create measurement technologies, control strategies, information systems, and manufacturing methods that meet ambitious specifications at large production scales
  • Innovate and implement advanced quality inspection tools to assess cosmetic and dimensional characteristics of parts
  • Analyze and compile data to establish appropriate limits and variables for process and part specifications
  • Lead initiatives to balance exceptional quality with scalable production yields
  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure accurate definition of quality expectations and appropriate assurance techniques for the product
  • Organize and prioritize all Quality Engineering functions across multiple programs for team members
  • Continue to enhance the team's capabilities and recruit new engineers
  • Establish audit procedures suitable for programs and suppliers to ensure compliance with Apple quality standards
  • Assess and communicate yields of both new and existing processes
  • Drive corrective actions in collaboration with internal and external team members

Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in manufacturing and Quality Control
Experience in developing process quality plans, conducting supplier quality audits, and driving corrective actions and failure analysis efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient understanding of mechanical quality and reliability concepts, supplier management, and general manufacturing operations.
Experience in the development and evaluation of measurement systems
Project management experience and a solid grasp of problem-solving tools including design of experiments, root cause analysis, and statistical analytical tools
Familiarity with any of the following:

mechanical enclosures, castings, plastic parts, injection molding, stamping, tooling, jigs, fixtures, or high-volume automotive quality manufacturing engineering
International experience, particularly in Asia, is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is one component of our comprehensive compensation package and is determined within a range.

This provides opportunities for advancement as you grow and develop within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $122,300 and $184,600, with your base pay dependent on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the chance to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if they voluntarily participate in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
