Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at our Vienna, VA clinic. This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Perform opening and closing clinic duties, including checking schedules and verifying insurance.
- Greets patients, checks them in for appointments, and scans documents into the electronic health record.
- Maintains the tidiness of the waiting area and reception counter throughout the day.
- Checks schedules for added, canceled, and no-show appointments, and schedules follow-up appointments as needed.
- Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record, including ordering office supplies and selling cosmetic products.
- Distributes mail and prepares for next day scheduled appointments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of recent medical office experience or in a similar capacity preferred.
- Proficient in basic computer functions and able to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and type a minimum of 40 wpm.
- Must possess attention to detail and be able to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
