Clinical Support Specialist - Reproductive Health
Clinical Support Specialist - Reproductive Health is responsible for providing essential support to healthcare providers and patients in a fertility treatment setting. This role contributes to a positive patient experience by assisting with administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examination, including vital sign measurement, updating health information, and communicating with healthcare providers.
- Document patient information, including vital signs, assessment, and provider notes, into the electronic medical record.
- Assist with minor medical procedures, such as preparing procedure trays and assisting with testing.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow and meet scheduling requirements.
- Order and schedule lab tests, review results, and annotate appropriate disposition.
- Order prescriptions and notify patients upon completion.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Practice Administrator.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) credential required.
- BCLS certification required.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- 1+ year Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nursing experience preferred.
- A minimum of 200 successful blood draws required (with documentation).
This role operates in a professional office, clinical, and/or laboratory setting. The employee will interact with others and ensure compliance with medical regulations, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies to maintain the highest standards of care and patient and staff safety.
CCRM's Compensation: The salary range represents the national average compensation for this position. The base salary offered will vary based on location, experience, skills, and knowledge. The pay range does not reflect the total compensation package. Our rewards may include an annual bonus, flexible work arrangements, and many other region-specific benefits.
