Sibylline Americas is seeking a talented GSOC Analyst to fulfill an embedded role within a client's security team. The GSOC Analyst will be responsible for alarm management, customer service, facilities support, and incident response as part of a 24/7 security operations framework. This role also involves enhancing the team's threat intelligence capabilities to assess the likelihood and impact of various threats to the client's personnel, assets, operations, and reputation, including risks such as civil unrest, crime, terrorism, extreme weather, health hazards, and technical failures.
This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to enter the security sector. The GSOC utilizes a range of tools, including global access control systems, alarm monitoring technologies, integrated video surveillance systems, and proprietary applications designed to identify threats and incidents affecting the organization. Candidates should be prepared to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, capable of researching and analyzing diverse information while adhering to strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure prompt responses to incidents, alarms, notifications, and service requests.
- Monitor CCTV and alarms, escalating and triaging requests as necessary.
- Evaluate and process information from all available sources, responding with appropriate communication, analytical reporting, and incident response protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all forms of communication, including written reports, emails, phone calls, and personal interactions.
- Stay informed about GSOC-specific standard operating procedures.
- Manage physical security and control functions at designated locations.
- Communicate security concerns or emergencies by escalating information to department leadership and relevant authorities.
- Participate in regular security and safety training programs to remain current on essential GSOC responsibilities and competencies.
- Collaborate with Sibylline's Intelligence Operations and other embedded teams to enhance skills, knowledge, and best practices, aiming to develop new intelligence products for the client.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Studies, or related fields, or equivalent experience in security, research and analysis, investigations, or customer service.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and attentive.
- A quick learner with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.
- A strong team player with the capacity to work independently when required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Flexibility to work all shifts (24/7 operations) and willingness to assist the team with overtime as needed.
- Authorization to live and work in the US.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College or university degree.
- Experience with mass notification systems.
- Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV monitoring systems, and other security platforms.
- Experience with security applications.
- Knowledge of social media monitoring tools.
- Foreign language proficiency.
