Job Title: Development Director

At Habitat for Humanity, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our affiliate, you will be responsible for building and sustaining relationships with donors, community partners, and stakeholders to drive fundraising efforts and support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve affiliate goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, prospects, and community partners to grow our donor base and secure funding.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and CFO to create and update the affiliate Fund Development Plan.
  • Coordinate signature special events, donor-related activities, and recognition efforts to engage and steward donors.
  • Oversee grant writing activities, including identifying, writing, and monitoring grant requests.
  • Provide administrative support for fundraising efforts, including data management and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Large-scale project management experience strongly preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in program development for youth and adults.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience and strength in developing productive partnerships with community leaders and representatives.
