Job Title: Director of Development

Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Development to join our Office of Advancement. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of 125-150 donors with gift capacities of $100,000 or more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the School's major gift pipeline
  • Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth donors and prospects
  • Collaborate with faculty, senior leadership, and colleagues to ensure coordinated outreach to top-level constituents
  • Travel independently to meet with donors and prospects
  • Meet annual targets for fundraising and portfolio growth
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least five years of experience in major gifts fundraising, preferably in higher education
  • Demonstrated success in developing strategies for and securing six-figure major gifts
  • Entrepreneurial inclination and ability to work in a goal-oriented environment
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse constituencies, including senior executive alumni and parents
