Position Overview

As a Relationship Manager III - C&IB within PNC's Commercial Banking organization, you will be based in Nashville, TN. This role requires time in the office or in the field on a regular basis, with some responsibilities performed remotely at the manager's discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set relationship strategies and direct relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to grow sales, revenue, and market share.
  • Work with clients with advanced levels of risk and complexity of needs, often requiring independent work and mentoring of other team members.
  • Create and drive strategies to acquire and/or expand and retain client relationships, generating revenue and deepening share of wallet.
  • Handle the origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of credit and non-credit products and services.
  • Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and/or existing clients, actively identifying and mitigating different types of risk.
  • Focus on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client's needs and their financial well-being.
  • Drive client engagement and loyalty, generating ideas and best practices within Relationship Management and mentoring others.
  • Manage an effective network of senior internal and external relationships to actively acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients and enhance the client experience.

Requirements

  • University/college degree, with higher-level education such as a Master's degree or certifications desirable.
  • Industry-relevant experience of 8+ years, with specific certifications often required.
  • Strong business acumen, client relationship management, customer experience management, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication, prospecting, and selling skills, with a strong understanding of technology platforms.
