We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team at Rite-Hite. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure document control and revision system, tracking documents and records, and ensuring accurate data entry.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily data entry, including cycle counts and inventory transactions.
- Complete routine assignments using established procedures and work instructions.
- Timely entry of scrap and deviation data into the system.
- Responsible for inventory accuracy by monitoring WIP locations and investigating discrepancies.
- Control log and assign serial numbers, and coordinate with department personnel for filing and storage of department files and records.
- Manage non-conforming material, including storage, return, and system adjustments.
- Produce and publish reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports.
- Perform daily data entry transactions by accurately transferring information to the computer system.
- Use independent thinking to set levels of MRO supplies and purchase supplies as needed.
- Print daily stock out reports and assist with PFEP analysis.
- Communicate with other departments as needed, including shipping/receiving, inventory control, production, and scheduling.
- High school diploma.
- Forklift license required.
The employee will be regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud, and personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
