Job Title: Documentation Specialist

At LISI MEDICAL, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Device Business Unit, you will be responsible for maintaining control of documents and the flow of documentation throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Document Change Requests and administer the Document Control of the QMS and associated records.
  • Maintain records and archives documentation.
  • Set up and maintain an adequate filing system to facilitate the swift retrieval of information (electronic and paper).
  • Monitor and maintain Industry Standards list with assistance from engineering, PM, and quality.
  • Assemble and compile basic data for reports or presentations as scheduled or requested.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information processed, as appropriate.
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining the Quality Management System.
  • Administer Documentation Control procedures.
  • Perform as an observer/recorder/host/coordinator for Audits (Internal, Customer, 3rd Party).
  • Process Purchase Requisitions into the ERP system and may purchase small dollar value items for the departments.
  • Coordinate arrangements for meetings.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Proficient written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) or similar software.
  • Demonstrated effective interaction skills.
  • Demonstrated detail orientation and organizational ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to learn and utilize ERP system software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2- or 4-year College Degree.
  • Documentation Control/Specialist/Clerk experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or machining environment.
  • ASQ Quality Improvement Associate.
  • ASQ Quality Auditor.
