Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Iowa Primary Care Association. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving our financial strategy and leading our finance team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to achieve financial goals.
  • Oversee all financial activities, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Manage audits, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the CEO, Board of Directors, and external auditors.
  • Drive financial excellence through expertise in cost accounting, performance management systems, and third-party payor interactions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in financial leadership within a healthcare setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and managing state, federal, and third-party payor relationships.
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced data entry capabilities.
