At Select Specialty Hospital - South Dakota (Sioux Falls), we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Nursing Officer to lead our clinical team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality patient care and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and Human Resources leader to tackle problems and enhance the employee and patient experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve staffing ratios and quality of care.
  • Engage with regional leaders on staffing initiatives and lead educational programs for new graduates and re-entry nurses.
  • Have fiscal responsibility to ensure budgets are met and costs are controlled within the hospital.

Requirements:

  • BSN required. MSN or equivalent Masters in Healthcare or enrollment in a Master's program required.
  • Three to Five years of hospital nursing experience required. Three or more years' experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
  • BLS required. ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
