At Rutland Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining examination rooms and equipment.
  • Perform various clinical and administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and communicating with patients and staff.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • 1-2 Years Medical Assistant experience, preferably in physician practice or outpatient clinic setting.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • Current nationally accredited Medical Assistant Certification/Registered, or Current Vermont State LNA License.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to report patient care observations and deviations from patient's plan of care.
  • Knowledge of infection control and basic computer skills.
