Medical Support Specialist

At Rutland Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with clinical duties, including preparing patients for exams and maintaining examination rooms and equipment.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in infection control and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant program graduate preferred.
- 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in a physician practice or outpatient clinic setting.
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association required.
- Current nationally accredited Medical Assistant Certification or Vermont State LNA License preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
Pay Range: $24.17
