Role Responsibilities:


The Global Sustainment (GS) Team at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is in search of a qualified individual to deliver Project Engineering support for the MK 41 Logistics Support Facility.

This team is responsible for providing MK 41 Logistics Support to the U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) nations, which includes testing and repairing depot-level repairable (DLR) items, supply point installation and checkout, engineering, and field service support for all Vertical Launching System (VLS) ships.


Current Contracts:

Our ongoing contracts encompass the VLS Design Agent Contract for the VLS Program Office and VLS Fleet Supply Support (Performance Based Logistics) for NAVSUP, catering to both U.S. Navy and FMS users.

The role involves supporting the Sustainment Integrated Product Team (IPT) with induction requests, inventory oversight, project management, budget supervision, and procurement management for NAVSEA customers.

Regular analysis of cost, technical aspects, and schedule execution for selected products will be conducted, with reports generated for the customer, focusing on meeting delivery and commitment timelines.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field, or equivalent experience/combined education, with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master's degree.
Considered experienced, yet still a learner.

  • Experience working with NAVSEA customers.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cost of Sales (COS) for inventory tracking, property management, and procurement oversight.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience with standard Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and tools (GRID, Excel, Microsoft Project), schedule creation/management, rolling waves, and EVM cost baselining.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Certified Cost Account Manager (CAM).
  • Completion of EVM training or other EVM tool training.
Security Clearance Statement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Remote Work Capability: Onsite Full-time: The responsibilities associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin offers a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week, with options for condensed schedules that provide employees with additional time away from the office, in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Compensation:


The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington, or Washington DC is $67,400 - $129,300. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
