Job Description: We are seeking a software engineer with a strong background in PHP, JavaScript, WordPress, and GitHub, who also possesses solid project management skills. This position will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining ad tech integrations, managing technical projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coding Expertise: Utilize JavaScript, PHP, and other languages to support various projects, including custom WordPress solutions and GitHub repository management.
  • Develop and Maintain: Implement and troubleshoot ad tech integrations, upgrades, and new feature implementations for Mirror Digital and its Publisher Network.
  • Quality Assurance: Support Ad Tech, Publisher Development, and Product teams on platform launches, audits, and troubleshooting, including Google Ad Manager tags and other ad-related products, technology, and performance within digital platforms.
  • Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support inquiries from internal teams and clients. Create tickets within ticketing systems, with working knowledge of agile methodologies.
  • Platform Operations: Assist in maintaining ad tech platforms, such as DSPs, DMPs, ad servers, and analytics tools, while conducting regular audits and quality checks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to provide technical support, training, and guidance on best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest digital advertising trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Other ad hoc duties, as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a developer or engineer role, with proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, WordPress, and GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, DSPs, DMPs, and analytics tools, a strong plus.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends.

Salary Range: $75K - $100K
