Salary: $37.00 per hour

Role Summary: The Financial Operations Specialist is a full-time, in-person role responsible for managing the processing, verification, and reconciliation of invoices and payments for our operations across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the processing of customer and vendor invoices within our ERP system.
  • Ensure accuracy by comparing purchase orders, sales orders, and other relevant documents, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Facilitate timely payments to vendors, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place before processing.
  • Oversee customer account balances, collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure timely collections.
  • Maintain financial integrity by adhering to internal controls and filing accounting documents to preserve historical records.
  • Identify and address gaps in our ERP processes, assisting in the design and implementation of improvements.
  • Audit and process credit card transactions and manage annual 1099 forms.
  • Engage in internal and external campaigns to collect missing vendor information for accurate records.
  • Support month-end reporting and assist with audit documentation as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial operations.
  • Strong understanding of sales and use tax regulations.
  • Experience managing international multi-currency transactions.
  • Proficient in handling inter-company transactions and postings.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor and reliability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP ByDesign.
  • Proficient in G-Suite and Mac OS.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
