Job Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to become a part of the Grand Central Bakery financial team. We are looking for a Financial Operations Specialist to provide essential support for accounts payable and receivable functions.

The Financial Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering accounting assistance for sales, production, and distribution of our quality products to both wholesale and retail clients. This team member is dedicated to fostering outstanding customer service at every interaction, collaborating internally across departments, and representing the brand to external partners and clients.

Work Schedule: Full-time, estimated hours per week, Monday - Friday, during daytime hours.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting capacity is essential.
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations is required.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, or similar software.
  • Experience with an ERP system is advantageous.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is mandatory.
  • As this position is situated within a production environment, employees must maintain a valid food handler's card, which is expected to be obtained by the first day of employment.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.

This role operates in a facility shared with production areas, which may expose employees to wheat flour dust and other grain dusts (such as rye, corn, and oat).
