Position Title: Client Support Specialist
Role Summary: The Client Support Specialist plays a crucial role in evaluating, organizing, and delivering essential services to women entering the recovery program.
Required Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates must meet specific criteria. A high school diploma is mandatory, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. A bachelor's degree in a related discipline is highly desirable. Familiarity with women's recovery issues is advantageous. If applicable, candidates should demonstrate at least two years of continuous sobriety from substances. Successful candidates will also undergo a criminal background check and a drug screening.
Working Hours: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential evening and weekend shifts as needed.
Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Program Director of Cumberland River Behavioral Health, Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Program Director to strategize, coordinate, and assess all programmatic and administrative requirements for clients.
- Evaluate clients' employment and vocational training needs.
- Conduct workshops to enhance job search and interview skills.
- Engage with clients and employers post-placement to ensure successful employment outcomes.
- Compile and maintain a comprehensive list of referral agencies and their contact details.
- Assist clients in completing food assistance applications.
- Coordinate with relevant parties regarding food assistance for clients who have exited the program.
- Participate in community outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with judicial systems and referral organizations to facilitate service delivery.
- Work regionally with law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community service organizations to optimize client support.
- Screen all potential clients for program admission and manage a waiting list.
- Provide daily oversight to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, ensuring all clients receive appropriate care.
- May conduct drug screenings for clients as necessary.
- Facilitate communication among Recovery Kentucky Program staff.
- Attend and engage in all mandatory meetings.
- Exhibit the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Program Director.
