Peer Mentor Coordinator

Cumberland River Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Mentor Coordinator to join our team. As a Peer Mentor Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their recovery journey, providing guidance, and promoting a culture of hope and empowerment.

• Supervise and support Peer Mentors in their roles, ensuring they provide high-quality support to clients.
• Develop and implement training programs for Peer Mentors, focusing on recovery principles, communication skills, and cultural competence.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a safe and supportive environment for clients.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, using evidence-based practices and recovery-oriented approaches.
• Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure clients are meeting their recovery goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, agencies, and organizations to promote collaboration and resource sharing.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as counseling, social work, or psychology.
• Experience working in a mental health or addiction treatment setting, preferably in a peer support or mentorship role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of recovery principles, trauma-informed care, and cultural competence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual respect.

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and recovery-oriented approaches.
• Fluency in a second language.
