About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients, adhering to established protocols and ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Utilize AIDET principles to communicate effectively with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the examination process.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal imaging outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N) or CNMT certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing patient care and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
