Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients, following established protocols and guidelines. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging and testing, to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and immobilization, and ensure proper equipment setup and calibration.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and expertise.
Requirements
  • ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N) or Cert Nuclear Med Tech (CNMT) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
