Amazon is seeking a seasoned Manager with a keen interest in investigations and a commitment to continuous learning to oversee a team of investigators in a remote work environment.


This position will require collaboration across various departments to ensure compliant solutions for multiple Amazon Payments business units.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate, and manage the activities of the RCO team.
  • Provide leadership and support to team members, focusing on achieving and enhancing service levels through effective forecasting and capacity management.
  • Drive process improvements and execute roadmapped projects while identifying new opportunities for innovation.
  • Analyze team performance trends and implement changes to elevate overall performance.
  • Establish and maintain best-in-class processes to enhance productivity, quality, and service level agreements.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify business trends and proactively enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Recruit and develop top-tier investigators.


People Development:

Foster the growth and skills of the investigator team by continuously closing performance feedback loops. The manager will establish governance mechanisms for people processes, engage team members, identify training needs, and facilitate upskilling. A roadmap will be created based on improvement areas and career aspirations, with adherence tracked. Additionally, the manager will work towards developing a succession plan within the team.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience in operational and/or retail management.
  • 2+ years of experience in team management.
  • Extensive industry experience (4+ years) in Operations, Risk, Fraud investigations, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience in team management.
  • 4+ years of operational management and compliance experience, with a proven ability to use data to influence business decisions.
  • Demonstrated consistent performance in leading teams.
  • Exceptional operational, managerial, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in Risk/Compliance Management & Fraud, with a track record of driving change and innovation.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (especially MS Excel and Word).
  • Experience in operational excellence utilizing Six Sigma methodologies.
