Job Summary:

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join the Field Medical Affairs Team. The MSL will develop professional relationships with national and regional healthcare opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals to provide medical and scientific support for Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. initiatives in selected therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals by developing skills and competencies to educate them on therapeutic areas and related products.
  • Present disease state and Daiichi Sankyo product-specific data to healthcare professionals.
  • Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information.
  • Identify and facilitate engagement of qualified investigators and study committee members for Daiichi Sankyo clinical research programs.
  • Gather customer insights to inform medical and commercial decision-making.
  • Enhance professional expertise through attendance of select scientific meetings and professional conferences.
  • Develop positive working relationships with local and regional internal stakeholders to enhance Daiichi Sankyo HCP relationships.
  • Implement the Field Medical Affairs department strategy within their geography in alignment with Medical and Brand strategies.
  • Complete administrative duties, including monthly expense reporting and field activity reporting.
  • Represent the Medical Science Liaison function by participating in Daiichi Sankyo meetings, functions, and events.
Qualifications:
  • PharmD, MD, PhD, or NP in a health sciences-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 or more years of experience in medical and scientific affairs, clinical practice, research, academic, or US-managed markets.
  • Previous experience in Oncology, clinical research, and medical education preferred.
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%.
Benefits:

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. offers comprehensive health care benefits, a Savings & Retirement Plan, and a competitive salary range of $170,000 - $220,000. This position is also eligible for sales incentive and long-term incentive based on performance.
