The primary responsibility of the Clinical Liaison for Medical Science is to foster meaningful scientific discussions with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals within a designated region. This role is pivotal in translating complex scientific information into practical applications for patient care, ensuring that the medical community is well-informed about our therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Engagement

  • Collaborate effectively with thought leaders to gather insights that inform the development of strategic medical plans.
  • Engage in scientific discussions to facilitate the launch and lifecycle management of our products.
  • Build relationships with medical societies and advocacy groups to enhance our outreach.
  • Provide training and support for external speakers as necessary.
  • Interact with payers during critical phases to ensure comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
  • Address unsolicited inquiries from healthcare professionals in real-time, utilizing virtual engagement tools.
  • Establish and maintain credible connections with key thought leaders through high-quality scientific dialogue.
  • Document activities and achieve established goals effectively.
  • Utilize digital tools to enhance medical engagement strategies.

Clinical Trial Engagement

  • Offer insights to clinical development teams regarding study feasibility based on field knowledge.
  • Liaise with major healthcare accounts to identify barriers to patient access and ensure equitable participation in clinical trials.
  • Lead discussions on significant clinical trial findings with investigators.
  • Support research initiatives by identifying potential study sites and facilitating patient recruitment.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance procedures and report any adverse events as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) with relevant experience in a specific therapeutic area.
  • Proven experience in a scientific or clinical research setting, with a preference for field medical expertise.
  • In-depth understanding of the healthcare landscape and treatment paradigms.
