The primary responsibility of the Clinical Liaison is to foster significant scientific discussions with key healthcare leaders, including Regional and National Thought Leaders, as well as Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) within a designated area. This role is essential in bridging the gap between scientific research and patient care, ensuring that healthcare providers are well-informed about the latest advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

The Clinical Liaison will:

  • Engage in insightful dialogues with Thought Leaders to gather valuable medical insights and support the development of strategic medical plans.
  • Collaborate with medical societies and advocacy groups to enhance understanding and address clinical needs.
  • Provide training and support for external speakers and healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Strategically interact with payers during critical phases of product launches.
  • Respond to unsolicited inquiries from HCPs, providing real-time medical support both in-person and virtually.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Thought Leaders through high-quality scientific engagement.
  • Document interactions and achieve set objectives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Utilize digital tools to enhance engagement with the medical community.

Clinical Research Engagement:

  • Offer insights to clinical development teams regarding study feasibility and potential investigator engagement.
  • Collaborate with major healthcare accounts to identify barriers to patient access and ensure equitable participation in clinical trials.
  • Lead discussions on significant clinical trial outcomes with investigators.
  • Support research initiatives by identifying potential study sites and facilitating patient recruitment.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance procedures and report any adverse events as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) with relevant experience in a specific therapeutic area or a broad medical background.
  • Experience in scientific or clinical research environments, with a preference for field medical expertise.
  • Strong understanding of the needs and dynamics of Thought Leaders.
  • Proven experience in hematology or related fields.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial design and the regulatory landscape.

Travel Requirements:

This position necessitates regular travel to engage with external stakeholders and support team objectives.
