About the Role

The Talent Management Consultant will play a critical role in assisting with the implementation and execution of employee engagement and culture work at Morehouse School of Medicine. This position will support the Director in designing and implementing organization/talent solutions, grassroots culture work, and developing and executing Communication and Change management strategies and plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of change management initiatives to support leaders and employees through organizational change.
  • Assess and define the MSM employee lifecycle survey strategy to improve efficiencies and ensure alignment with institutional mission and goals.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the employee engagement process, conducting employee engagement surveys through survey design, drafting survey communications, and developing action plans.
  • Collate survey results and guide leadership on interpreting results.
  • Assist with the implementation of the pay for performance strategy.
  • Organize and track projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet intended goals.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development COE's to develop, design, and implement an MSM internship program.
  • Act as a collaborative partner within HR and across MSM community.
  • Support ad hoc reporting, data, and training requests.

Requirements:

  • BS or BA degree or equivalent work experience; Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in talent management, culture, employee engagement change management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Excel reporting and PowerPoint Proficiency.
  • Experience leading and facilitating meetings.
  • Experience instituting talent management processes.
  • Experience supporting end-to-end program management and large-scale change management efforts.
  • Experience prioritizing needs with reason and solutions across multiple teams.
  • Ability to work well with others; encourages others to build strong working relationships.
  • Strong work ethic, flexible, dependable, positive can-do attitude, and team motivator.
  • Ability to focus and deliver tangible results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in HR, I/O Psychology, Leadership or MBA; Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Experience with Cornerstone LMS.
  • Experience in organization development including designing and creating programs in a professional, higher education or corporate environment.
