This includes prospecting for and closing new business relationships, retaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, and selling appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow a large and complex portfolio of commercial loans
- Prospect for and close new business relationships
- Retain and expand relationships with existing customers
- Sell appropriate bank products and services to prospects and clients
- Provide financial advice to customers
- Approve loans within assigned limits, managing loan and portfolio credit quality
- Master's degree in finance, accounting, or other related field, or relevant work experience
- 10 or more years of commercial lending/relationship management experience with a middle market focus
- Considerable knowledge and experience in managing and growing a large and complex portfolio of commercial loans
- Strong knowledge in credit underwriting/risk concepts
- Strong leadership and strategic management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
