Job Summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for managing and growing a large and complex portfolio of commercial loans. This includes prospecting for and closing new business relationships, retaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, and selling appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a large and complex portfolio of commercial loans
  • Prospect for and close new business relationships
  • Retain and expand relationships with existing customers
  • Sell appropriate bank products and services to prospects and clients
  • Provide financial advice to customers
  • Approve loans within assigned limits, managing loan and portfolio credit quality
Requirements
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, or other related field, or relevant work experience
  • 10 or more years of commercial lending/relationship management experience with a middle market focus
  • Considerable knowledge and experience in managing and growing a large and complex portfolio of commercial loans
  • Strong knowledge in credit underwriting/risk concepts
  • Strong leadership and strategic management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
