Job Summary

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a highly skilled Small Business Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Community Banking division, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will work closely with our Branch Managers, Community Bankers, and Private Bankers to assist with SBA loan requests, including reviewing and submitting applications, and providing support during the underwriting and closing process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking, relationship management, and underwriting, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. If you are a motivated and results-driven professional looking to make a meaningful contribution to our team, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the structuring of SBA loans by developing and maintaining relationships with bankers and clients.
  • Participate in joint business development calls with bankers to identify and facilitate sales opportunities.
  • Structure loan proposals and prepare credit packages for underwriting.
  • Ensure loan quality by assessing client eligibility and reviewing financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of banking, relationship management, underwriting, and credit experience.
  • Knowledge of various types of loans, credit analysis, and banking products.
  • Excellent customer service, relationship, and communication skills.
