About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Post-Doctoral Resident to join our team at FamilyForward. As an integral member of our assessment and clinical teams, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical interviews with caregivers, case managers, and other relevant team members to gather essential information for assessment and treatment planning.
  • Review client files, including IEPs, previous psychological evaluations, and records, to inform report writing and recommendations for further treatment or assessment.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide regular feedback to treatment teams, including caregivers, community members, and other stakeholders, with clear recommendations for additional services.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, including conferences, workshops, and seminars, to stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in the field.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in psychology
  • Completed doctoral internship
  • Experience working with children and families in a mental health capacity
  • Training and experience working with children and families who have experienced trauma (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of psychological test interpretation
  • Eligibility for provisional licensure in the state of Missouri
