About the Position

This position involves working with military children and families on U.S. Air Force bases. As a Pediatric Psychologist, you will provide evaluation, consultation, and direct psychological services for infants and toddlers with disabilities and behavioral disorders.

You will work in the EI and MRS sections of EDIS, providing family-centered care and services. We offer relocation assistance, airfare, temp lodging, and great compensation.

Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
  • Formal clinical child psychology fellowship or equivalent fellowship, or training in a doctoral program with a pediatric emphasis.
  • Current license to practice Child Psychology in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a school-based or clinical setting.
  • Formal training and experience in conducting assessments with children, including using standardized and criterion reference tools.
  • Knowledge of family-centered approach to care, IDEA, Parts B and C, and early intervention services.
