Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing behavioral health assessments and services to civilian employees, as well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to comprehensive guidance and expert consultation on employee medical processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments and provide expert consultation on employee medical processes
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to comprehensive guidance and expert consultation
  • Develop and implement a civilian resiliency program that aligns with the current NGA holistic Wellness Program
  • Provide trainings, briefings, and workshops on behavioral health topics
  • Conduct research and surveys on behavioral health issues
  • Participate in internal and external working groups and taskforces
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or School Psychology from a graduate program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA)
  • Completed an APA-accredited Doctoral Internship Program
  • Full, current, and unrestricted license to practice psychology at the doctoral level in a State, Territory, Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia
Desirable Qualifications
  • Two years of clinical evaluation experience
  • Experience in developing innovative programming to educate others about behavioral health
  • Strong oral communication skills
Working Conditions

This position is a DCIPS position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. DoD Components with DCIPS positions apply Veterans' Preference to preference eligible candidates as defined by Section 2108 of Title 5 USC, in accordance with the procedures provided in DoD Instruction, Volume 2005, DCIPS Employment and Placement.
