Position Overview
We are in search of a detail-oriented, technologically adept, and diligent Senior Accounting Manager to provide robust operational leadership across all facets of our organization, facilitating the growth of our current and future functional groups.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will:

  • Offer leadership, guidance, and support to the Purchase Order Reconciliation, Corporate Accounting, and Accounts Receivable teams.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for the accounting department, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other divisions.
  • Play a crucial role in enhancing, developing, and implementing internal financial controls.
  • Maintain and improve a documented system of accounting policies and procedures to support the company’s expansion.
  • Guarantee accurate and timely recording of all accounting and financial activities across multiple entities.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring the books are finalized within six business days.
  • Facilitate monthly financial review meetings with executives.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data for executives, providing insights to guide strategic business decisions.
  • Review financial statements for reasonableness and investigate any unusual items.
  • Oversee external audits and ensure that audit requests from the accounting team are accurate and delivered promptly.
  • Resolve operational challenges, enhance processes and procedures, and monitor the progress of ongoing projects and ad-hoc tasks to ensure all KPIs are met in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
  • 8+ years of experience in a corporate finance or accounting role.
  • 3+ years of experience in a management capacity.
  • Experience in Small to Medium Business environments.
  • Strong technical research skills, including familiarity with US GAAP.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases; tech-savvy is essential.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets.
  • Experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
  • The ability to navigate multiple sources of information quickly and accurately.
  • Superior mathematical skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Consistent, accurate, and thorough attention to detail.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and a strong aptitude for numbers.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent phone and email etiquette.
  • The ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment and think creatively.
  • Organizational skills that allow for effective management of several concurrent projects and priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to handle work confidentially in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
