The role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 along with a flexible hybrid work arrangement, requiring in-office presence at least three days a week.

Core Responsibilities:

Financial Oversight:

  • Supervise all financial operations and team members.
  • Evaluate cash flow, cost management, and expenditures to support business activities.
  • Assist in establishing controls and budgets to minimize risks and enhance returns on investment.

Reporting & Financial Management:

  • Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports, special analyses, and documentation.
  • Conduct internal assessments to evaluate financial health.
  • Support management of bank covenants and lender communications.
  • Oversee cash management, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and construction accounting.
  • Act as a primary liaison for external auditors.

Compliance & Operational Control:

  • Formulate and uphold financial policies, internal controls, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant federal/state regulations.
  • Assist in developing and executing finance, accounting, billing, and auditing protocols.
  • Address audit inquiries from external auditors or regulatory bodies.

Strategic Planning & Project Assistance:

  • Facilitate the execution of strategic business and operational initiatives.
  • Prepare funding requests and manage disbursements and expenditures.
  • Assess potential investments and operational improvements through financial analysis.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation preferred but not mandatory).

Experience & Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting leadership.
  • Experience collaborating directly with business owners.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and automated financial systems.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and cost management principles.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and capacity to manage multiple tasks.
