Job Summary

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support for the Washington Planning Center in Washington DC. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting system and software issues, maintaining and updating systems with software and security patches, and assisting with system upgrades and installations. Additionally, you will support cyber security accreditation for Theatre Mission Planning Center (TMPC) and investigate and report software discrepancies.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Microsoft products, including Operating Systems, SQL, PowerShell, and Office. You will also need to have experience with Microsoft SQL Server or SQL Server Management Studio, Active Directory, and RedHat Virtualization. A strong Windows background and general knowledge of networking are also essential. You will need to possess good oral and written skills and be able to obtain DoD Directive 8570 Information Assurance compliance (Security+ certification) and Computing Environment compliance within the specified timeframes.

Desired Skills

Prior US Navy experience with Tomahawk background and operation knowledge of Theatre Mission Planning Center (TMPC) are highly desirable. Possessing software and/or systems engineering skills will also be beneficial.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
