Job Title: Senior Field Service Engineer

This position reports to the Service Manager and is a key member of our team responsible for delivering excellent customer service and executing service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.
  • Ensure customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.
  • Identify new service business opportunities for ABB in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams.
  • Coach technicians and engineers and supervise complex site activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a similar field with 5+ years of experience in servicing critical power equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Broad experience in Field Service or a related role, with a focus on Critical Power Systems (Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Power Distribution, Static Switch, Battery, and Power Conditioning Systems).
  • OSHA 10, OSHA 30 training preferred.
  • NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training preferred.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., NETA, NICET, CompTIA, ABB, APC, Eaton, Schneider Electric, etc.) preferred.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
