Job Overview

Go intellects Inc is seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing network systems, providing technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network systems, including Local Area Network (LAN)/Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)/ Wide Area Network (WAN) systems.
  • Provide technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations.
  • Direct compilation of records and reports concerning network operations and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot network performance issues and analyze network traffic to provide capacity planning solutions.
  • Monitor and respond to complex technical control facility hardware and software problems.
  • Interface with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
  • Manage the purchase, testing, installation, and support of network communications.
  • Perform system-level design and configuration of products, including determination of hardware, OS, and other platform specifications.
  • Plan large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies.
  • Perform a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities, including personnel, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities and/or equipment.
  • Provide quality assurance review and evaluation of new and existing software products.
  • Provide assistance and oversight for all information systems operations activities.
  • Supervise all personnel engaged in the operation and support of network facilities.
  • Monitor and respond to hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Provide routine testing and analysis of all elements of the network facilities.
  • Utilize software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose complex problems and factors affecting network performance.
  • Troubleshoot network systems when necessary and make improvements to the network.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in network systems engineering and operations.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security measures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
