Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Power Systems Specialist to join our team at Abb Holdings Inc. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for executing service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines.

Your primary focus will be on delivering excellent customer service to satisfy customers, showcasing your expertise by working with customers to identify opportunities in the installed base to improve system performance and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.
  • Ensure customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.
  • Take actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams.
  • Coach technicians and engineers and supervise complex site activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar with 5+ years of experience in servicing critical power equipment, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Broad experience in Field Service or a related role, with a focus on Critical Power Systems (Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Power Distribution, Static Switch, Battery, and Power Conditioning Systems).
  • OSHA 10, OSHA 30 training preferred.
  • NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training preferred.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., NETA, NICET, CompTIA, ABB, APC, Eaton, Schneider Electric, etc.) preferred.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
