Position Overview:
This role involves the strategic allocation of sustainment funding to various Army Reserve Installations, including Readiness Divisions and the centrally managed National Roofing Program (NRP) and Builder Inspection Program.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance to personnel regarding contract management.
- Conduct thorough analyses of new and proposed legislation and regulations to assess program requirements and impacts, and develop policies that affect Army Reserve facilities.
- Act as the primary liaison for the Army Reserve concerning the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Facility Sustainment Model, which outlines the sustainment needs of the Army Reserve.

Oversight Duties:
- Manage all activities related to the Program Objective Memorandum (POM), including preparing and presenting justification materials to the command hierarchy.
- Review and respond to Program Decision Memorandums and Program Budget Decisions as necessary.

Employment Conditions:
- Appointment may require a suitability or fitness determination based on a completed background investigation.
- Up to 25% travel may be necessary.

Qualifications:
- This position is open to applicants who meet specific employment authority categories. You will need to identify your eligibility category and provide supporting documentation.

Experience Requirements:
- Candidates must possess one year of specialized experience at a senior command level, which includes planning, programming, budgeting, and resource execution.
- Experience in analyzing installation status report data, recommending budget requests, and validating command-level requirements is essential.
- Additional experience in drafting and implementing policy guidance for command organizations and preparing documents for senior leadership is required.

Evaluation Criteria:
- Applicants will be assessed based on their competencies in Budget Administration, Communications, Decision Making, and Performance Management.

Additional Information:
- The position may be filled as a time-limited promotion or reassignment, not exceeding 13 months, with potential extensions.
- A trial/probationary period may be required, and direct deposit of pay is mandatory.
